Bountiful blessings…how can we get them, dad? I had learned this phrase in my value education class and was keen to know about it.
It was through the direction of virtue I understood the way of receiving them when my dad made it clear to me,
“Shelly, blessings are like sunlight, the only thing we need to do is to feel it by leaving our confinements”.
At that time my dad’s explanation seemed a bit confusing to me; I left without any question, but later I actually understood the meaning and felt the real essence of it.
I believe that it all depends upon us; we can change our world…we are the ones who have to take the first steps to get the bountiful supply of blessings!
So magical is this theory, everything is ready for us, what we have to do is simply take the initiative to encounter clarity.
Be Blessed!
A pinch of Pollyannaism
There is love inside everyone, but their circles are confined to themselves only. Start expanding your circles and you’ll feel that you’ve wrapped up the whole universe in you…
Do you feel the same?

It’s all in here, we only need to seek it out…..thanks a lot
I believe you’re right, we can change the world but not by wishing it so, by (as you say) taking steps to make it happen 🙂
Welcome Rhonda……
Yes…and everything begins within ourselves…thanks a lot for your lovely comments
Well written! However leaving one’s confinements is never easy!
True…it’s a bit difficult, but not impossible. We simply need courage to break the ice….
Thanks a lot
Beautiful message for all. Yes as you Dad says we need to break free of our confinements! I guess for that we need to have a open mind. 🙂
Exactly, here lies the point….

Sunila, thanks very much for the motivation…..
Your dad seems to be a wise man:-) Very moving post. I also believe we are our selves in charge… We are responsible and have to start the action. A small step at the time – its doable:-) Lovely philosophy in your post today:-) Well written:-)
Absolutely… we simply have to take a small step with faith, rest all is done by a force of various combinations…
Thanks Eli for your lovely comments….
This is so wonderful…the name of the blog “Everyone is Special” made me want to visit your blog instantly from the list of blogs registered on AtoZ Challenge website. And when I come here, I see the mention of Pollyanna, the book I have recently bought after the recommendation by a friend. Looking forward to rest of the letters and how you bring up the Pollyannaism to life through your posts.
Good luck!

I love your post. I do agree that we are in control of our life though, there are things that happen to us which we have no control over. At times like those, we need a great pick-me-up such as this. Well said.
